How many guests can join a Group Tab?

As many as you’d like to have in your party! There are no limits or caps on guests or invites but guests must be in the venue to be able to join.

Can a guest rejoin a Group Tab once they have been removed?

Once a guest has been removed from a Group Tab they will not be able to rejoin.

How do I close a Group Tab?

Group Tab owners can close a Group Tab at any time. Otherwise, a Group Tab will automatically be closed at 5am the next day or 15 minutes after a tab limit has been reached if the limit has not been increased.

Can there be multiple Group Tab owners?

There can only be one Group Tab owner, however multiple payment methods can be used.

What happens to unused funds when a Group Tab is closed?

Unused funds on a tab will be automatically refunded back to the Group Tab Owner. If there is more than one payment method supplied, the funds will be returned in order by the last payment method used.

How will transactions appear for guests?

When a Group Tab owner sets up a Group Tab, their payment method will be charged immediately after they have set a limit. The transaction will appear as a payment to me&u on their statement.

Will you be able to see who ordered specific items on the receipt?

Group Tab admins will be able to see what was ordered on the Group Tab but not who ordered it.

Can I take a deposit for a Group Tab before the day of an event?

Group Tabs can only be set up on the day of an event. For venues that normally take deposits for tabs, we’d recommend putting a hold on the user’s credit card instead to guarantee against in the event of a now show and then the customer can set up a Group Tab with me&u on the day.

How do I see how much I have left on a Group Tab?

Group Tab owners will be able to see remaining funds on their Group Tab and track orders as they come in, however their guests will not be able to. They will also receive an SMS when there’s 20% left on the Group Tab and when funds have run out.

I got a refund for my unused funds, but it wasn’t for the full amount?

Unfortunately, processing fees cannot be refunded when the remaining Group Tab funds are returned. We’d recommend starting with an amount that’s close to what you estimate spending and topping up from there.

What is the minimum amount required to set up a Group Tab?

Guests will need to set a limit of $50 or more to start a Group Tab.
