IP & Domain Whitelisting is used to limit the machines or websites available once connecting to a network. These me&u specific IPs and Domains can be shared with any venue/group/IT team when asked.
We do not utilise FQDN's (Fully Qualified Domain Names).
IP whitelisting ensures that the servers we use to send me&u orders to your POS are allowed to send order traffic into your network. Consumer grade routers are unlikely to need to add any Whitelisting rules - it is more a requirement of a professionally managed IT environment
Necessary for certain integrations where we directly connect to the POS server at site (e.g. BePOZ). Not necessary when our orders are sent via the POS cloud platform (Kounta, H&L). Not generally necessary when we integrate via a middleware (though the middleware onboarding may require some IP whitelisting of their own).
The below IP addresses house the me&u infrastructure used to make calls to POS' API:

The Domain Whitelist contains a list of domains necessary to allow the full functionality of:
- me&u web application (for placing customer orders)
- me&u Operator Portal (management of me&u menu, service times etc.)
- me&u Venue Manager Portal (on-shift operations)
For venues in remote locations or with other connectivity problems, this whitelist can be used to ensure that your corporate wifi allows access to the necessary websites so that:
- Customers can use me&u to scan, order & pay
- Venue management can manage their me&u operations
