BePOZ Specific Common Troubleshooting

Assigning a product to API Till

On BePOZ, me&u is linked to an API Till which is assigned to a Store. For product to pass validation, the product needs to be assigned to a Store where the me&u API Till is assigned.

When receiving a Not assigned to API Till error, first cross check the PLU on BePOZ vs me&u. If the same follow the steps below.

Your venue may have a different version of BePOZ and interface than the below screenshots, so please reach out to BePOZ support for the exact process for your setup. BePOZ support can be reached on 02 9556 3566 or at support@bepoz.com.au

How to Add an Existing Product to a New Store

1. To find the product you would like to add to the store, go to Maintenance (1), Product (2), and find the Product Group (3) in your product tree. In this sample we want to add a Jack Daniels Bourbon 700ml to be sold in the Bistro. Currently only selling in the Bottleshop.

2. Double click on the highlighted product on the right side of the screen to show the products Detail screen.

3. Select the Store/Pricing Settings tab if it isn’t already.

4. Select the Store option.

5. In the Stores for Product screen, select (1) Add Store. (2) Highlight the Store you would like to add to the Product. (3) confirm your selection by clicking Select Store, and finally (4) Exit ProdStore List.

6. Select the drop down option for the stores and select the correct Store.

7. Confirm the Show in Store check boxes are selected for the Sizes you wish to sell in this new store, and update the Retail price you would like to sell the product for. Select OK on the bottom right of the product detail screen, and you are complete.

For the me&u and BePOZ integration to work, me&u will work with your IT team to set up a port forwarding rule on the venues network. Changes to your network, like moving to the NBN or switching internet providers, will effect the the port forwarding rules meaning that for the me&u integration to continue to be successful, with the help of your IT team you will need to provide us with the new external IP address and for port forwarding to be completed using port number 9163 (9164, 9165 etc. if more API devices are used on me&u).

To find your static IP address, visit this website. Here you can also see is port number 9163 (9164, 9165 etc. if more API devices are used on me&u) is open on the IP address.
