Managing Group Tabs
In Venue Manager, under Orders there is a section for Group Tabs, where Open/Closed Tabs can be viewed, along with the following information:
- View name of the Group Tab owner
- Number of Group Tab members
- Duration the Group Tab has been open for
- Total spend of the Group Tab
- Status of the Group Tab
To view more detail about a Group Tab, click on it directly, and a detailed pane will pop up with in depth information about that specific Tab.
Closing a Group Tab
From this screen in Venue Manager, Group Tabs can also be closed by the venue in addition to the Tab admin. Click on the "Close Group Tab" button, you will be prompted to confirm your choice.
Note
Only PINs designated as the Manager role have the ability to close a customers Group Tab. If you login and cannot see this option the PIN you are using is set as a Staff pin. For a refresher on how to do this view this article.
When a Group Tab is closed any unused funds will be automatically be refunded back to the customer but additional refunds manual refunds cannot be done.
Remember, once closed - Group Tabs cannot be reopened, a new one will have to be created!
