Managing the order of categories and the products within those categories is important to ensure me&u is logical and easy to understand for your customers. Different placements also can increase sales and revenue of products and categories.
Arranging Products within Categories
To change the order of products with categories, head to the Categories section of the Operator Portal. Click on the category you would like to rearrange.
Rearrange the product order by dragging and dropping items in the box on the right-hand side. Move products with higher margins to the top. Items that have the Recommended flag will default to the top when tapped on, but not on Operator Portal.
Ensure you click save and publish.
Arranging Categories within Services
The same method can be applied to Categories themselves, within Services. The order of your menu is important to display a logical flow for your customer.
The below example shows a menu that needs to be reordered, to show a flow from entrée to mains and desserts.
Again, to change the order, go to Operator Portal, then into Services and click the service you'd like to edit.
Under Categories, you can reorder the right box, as shown below.
Ensure you click save and publish.
